Montessori

The Montessori Method has withstood the test of time.  This approach to education is as relevant today as it was in l907 when Dr. Maria Montessori opened her first Casa de Bambini (Children’s House). 

 

After becoming Italy’s first woman physician in l896, Dr. Montessori focused her attention on the emotional and intellectual needs of children.  Her unique insights, led to the development of theories and principles known as the Montessori Method.
